First, the show’s star, Lauren Conrad, was rumored to be pregnant by a thinly veiled blind item posted on a blog. But her publicist told OK!
Magazine that’s not true. “The only person pregnant in Lauren Conrad’s life is her publicist and you can quote me on that,” she said.
The original item was posted on Crazy Days and Nights, a blog I’ve never heard of and that was nearly impossible to find because no one likes to attribute sources anymore, preferring instead to just copy and pasted with reckless abandon. Anyway, the item said, “This Hills and/or Laguna Beach star is pregnant. Now if we could just figure out the daddy.”
